It’s really hard to choose between the two cause I have sooo much time invested in both.. A lot of time I just do daily quests and a few games after that normally on both. Since HS has changed from 2 expansions and adventures to 3 expansions it’s gotten way more expensive if you go the cash route and if you go f2p it’s extremely hard to keep up now.

HS isn’t going anywhere for many years to come. TESL is much more generous as far as packs and currency and there’s definitely less of a need to spend real cash vs HS but it definitely has a questionable future. They do have a league but it’s not on the grand scale HS has. If you are looking just to climb ranks you can do it going F2P on both. I really think that’s a strong option over both especially if you like MTG, although it probably won’t have a major competitive scene and might live in TESL’s shadow But wait, there’s more lol..
